Women across Staffordshire are invited to enjoy a free day of creative activities, wellbeing sessions, health checks and more at the Love Yourself Wellness Day this Saturday.
Hosted by Staffordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes, the event takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026, from 10am to 4pm, at The Member’s Pavilion, Staffordshire County Showground, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD.
The day is open to all women, not just WI members, although some pre-bookable activities are reserved for members only. Free drop-in activities open to everyone include mindful art, chair yoga, health checks, pranic healing, homeopathy and Reiki, a sound bath, and talks on subjects including spinal health and the benefits of chocolate.
There will also be demonstrations covering crafts such as wool felted landscapes, patchwork and quilting, embroidery, crochet, knitting, henna art, beads and bracelets, and Sashiko Japanese embroidery.
Visitors can browse a variety of stalls, including jewellery, handmade gifts, skincare, honey, chutney, cakes and bakes. Staffordshire Women’s Aid will also be attending the event in line with WI campaigning.
Free tea, coffee and water will be available, with food to purchase from the Showground cafés. Visitors are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.
The Wellness Day has been made possible thanks to funding from the National Federation for a community-based educational event, helping Staffordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes create a day where women can take time to be kind to themselves.
